What is Acupuncture? Can it Help You?

Acupuncture is a 2,000 year old method of using very fine needles to regulate the 14 meridians (energy pathways) and Qi (the energy)of the body.
12 of these meridians each relate to one of the organs in your body, and by stimulating points along the meridians, the function of the organs can be influenced.
Acupuncture does not treat a symptom in isolation, it also seeks to address the underlying imbalance which allowed the symptom to occur. This means that, as well as an improvement in the main symptom, people notice that they also feel better in themselves.

Treatment and advice can be given for a wide variety of conditions. Here are some examples:

Muscular and Skeletal Problems
Sports injuries, back pain, neck and shoulder pain, frozen shoulder, lower back pain, sciatica, arthritis, tennis/golfer's elbow, sore or stiff knees

Skin Conditions
